The Vellasaru experience starts from the point you come out of the airport to the point you hand your bags at the airline counter. It was amazing throughout. The staff at the resort were extremely friendly. Breakfast was great. Room was spacious and clean. The island was really well maintained. And honestly we could not ask for more. Views were amazing, marine life was decent and plenty of activities to keep you busy for 5 days. My little one did not want to leave the island and wanted to buy a house in the Maldives 😀

We had an amazing time at Velassaru! The hotel is absolutely beautiful — everything from the beaches to the landscape is perfectly maintained. What really stood out to us was the staff: everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Our bungalow was incredible, we stayed in an overwater bungalow with a private pool, and it was just perfect. The view was amazing, especially at sunset, and we loved being able to jump straight into the sea or relax in the pool in total privacy. The coral reef just in front was a great spot for snorkeling! The food was great, and we especially loved the fact that they serve cava at breakfast — such a nice touch!

Wonderful gateway to recharge yourself. Island was very clean. Staffs are very friendly and co-operative. Weekly experiences are very good for those who are energetic and active during holidays (we are more vacation means eat, drink and just relax kinda couple..haha!). We liked the food. Breakfast is amazing. For rest of the dining we mainly used the In Villa dining experience and it was just as fine. Nice blend in cocktails and mocktails. Pool was amazing. View from the villa is soothing. We ejoyed the sun rise every morning. It was a spectacular view. Lighting in evening around the resturants and bar and main pool adds to the attractions. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much in the island.

I was really impressed by how clean and well-organized everything is at Velassaru. Every detail feels thoughtfully planned and perfectly arranged. The resort suits both solo travelers and couples, with a wide range of facilities and activities — from snorkeling, yoga, and sunset watching to jet ski and boat trips (some complimentary, others chargeable). The staff are friendly and always willing to help. The beach is stunning — not too big, not too small, just perfect. Overall, a beautiful, calm, and well-managed resort that’s absolutely worth visiting

I loved the staff and the hospitality of the workers at resort . They made the stay pleasant . Big thank you to our sweet room cleaner who checked upon us daily . Unfortunately I didn’t ask his name . The rooms were clean , AC worked perfectly , water bottles were big it was enough for the whole day and they still supplied more of it daily . The breakfast and dinner buffet was amazing 10/10 it had eveything that you can think of , and they had daily different themes in cuisine (dinner) like one day it’s Italian theme one day it’s European one day Arabic one day Chinese .

The staff here are super chill and friendly The service was top‑notch from start to finish. They surprised us with private room upgrade - total bonus, Even after we checked out, they went above and beyond—found one of my missing AirPods I’d been hunting for, which was amazing. Free ice cream? Yaaaaaaes And breakfast? Soooo yummy One night, I spotted a little lizard and called for help, and the team showed up lightning fast. Honestly, 10/10 experience. Big love to the crew for making our stay awesome I had the most amazing massage by Kintsho—she’s seriously talented. I went for the sleep & relax massage, and wow… I slept like a baby. Huge shout‑out to Kintsho for her magic hands 🙏 The activities team was also super friendly and really knew how to make everyone have a great time
